First thing that should have been a red flag was the "Free Shipping" claim on webpage at checkout but when I went through the steps, I was charged shipping. Contacted Richard Basini (owner) via email and he quickly responded "no free shipping". See link here: dropbox.com/s/hf35yrkzsn…
So I went ahead and ordered some Atlas O Track. Three 40" pieces of track arrived damaged (tabs at end of track were broken). When I informed him of this, he was very abrupt and short with me. He told me I had two choices.... I could sent the three pieces back at MY expense or he could send me some replacement end snaps (Atlas #6057). This meant I had to cut part of my track off and put these end pieces back on. I was still polite and said I did not think it was right for me to pay full price for new track and be forced to perform surgery on it myself, which would only compromise the integrity of the track.

This probably wouldn't have been a huge problem if I had a permanent layout but I informed him my layout was temporary. I'd be taking it apart each time and these plastic replacement end snaps would be sliding off the track each time causing distortion every time I did so. Plus the fact that I am having to repair this track myself that was sent damaged to me due to his inadequate packing.
He was very uninterested in taking any responsibility for this..., other than shipping out a $5 bag of end snaps. I asked if he would consider adjusting the price of the three damaged tracks..., but he snapped back at me and called me a "complainer".
I told him I would be happy to ship this back if he would provide me a shipping label. He scoffed at that, then retorted with "that's your 2 choices" (return at my expense or repair it yourself), then became belligerent and said he'd never send me anything again. I responded and said to NOT send me any replacement snaps.., that I would get them from another dealer (which I did). I do not expect something for nothing but I DO expect to get what I pay for..., as well most folks do. Now this shop owner is calling me names. Look at the other reviews and make your own decision about this guy's integrity. The person who posted the previous review describes him "spot on".

Just because the price is attractive does not mean it's the way to go. This owner is very arrogant, uninterested in working with the customer and just plain rude. Take heed to these reviews and beware..., especially of this guy.
